We fell down from above the ground
Trusting in our God, that was our flaw
Let me die and I'll turn around
Keep my soul alive and I'll tear you down
Midnight comes along with unbeckoned guilt
This spell is for you and it cuts at your soul
Your body left behind
If we escape from this unholy world
Our way of dying will determine yours
I'm the watcher, standing by the sun
You'll confess or you shall bathe in blood
You may go
You may cross
Gazing up we could reach so far
Death comes to us all I cry to the sky
Surely now friend and foe undone
Forced into a fight with a broken God
"I am but a doll"
She spoke wih Arcadian voice
Sorrow gathers the remaining threads
Your voice is shackled by your fear
If we escape from this unholy world
Our way of dying will determine yours
I'm the watcher, standing by the sun
You'll confess now that your trial has begun
I will come tonight
And I'll destroy your citadel
Daughters of the night
Your comprehension becomes ascension
Life is not divine
And everything will fade to black
Armor of the Gods
Grant me the power to walk upon the land
"My journey begins tonight"
I will rise like a demigod
"For those from before the fall"
My journey begins tonight
"I will rise like a demigod"
For those from before the fall
"May I die tonight"

So I can't leave a long enough review to say everything I want. But I will say this, I love this EP. It's a great little follow up to times, and has just enough of a dynamic shift in sound to prove that Smoulder isn't a one trick pony with their first album's formula. This one really plays up the 70s prog aspects (DUST and Manilla Road influences definitely shine through even harder here). It's still Smoulder, don't get me wrong. Just a different side in some ways, all of which are good. playfulpooka

IMHO, one of those albums that catches your attention immediately, but needs a few listens to really appreciate how great it is. Getting addicted guys, really! sachavonkarl74
