Listen closely and maybe you'll hear
Incantations to see everything
The sun and stars signaling the end of time
In the gateway across from the shrine
Lies the world in the palm of your hand
Look to the sky, constellations left behind
All that I see is history
Or are they really future dreams
Maybe one day I'll find the key
And solve this mystery
What a nightmare, when will it end
Cannot wake up, I cannot forget
My visions past and reality align
If only humans together could see
We could reach it and feel everything
I'll do my part lest reality will die
All that I see is history
Or are these really future dreams
Give me the power to foresee
These nightmares I will keep
Listen up to my story now until the end
Would you then your nightmares share to a friend
Give me your dreams so I can take them
Give me your dreams so I can break them

So I can't leave a long enough review to say everything I want. But I will say this, I love this EP. It's a great little follow up to times, and has just enough of a dynamic shift in sound to prove that Smoulder isn't a one trick pony with their first album's formula. This one really plays up the 70s prog aspects (DUST and Manilla Road influences definitely shine through even harder here). It's still Smoulder, don't get me wrong. Just a different side in some ways, all of which are good. playfulpooka

IMHO, one of those albums that catches your attention immediately, but needs a few listens to really appreciate how great it is. Getting addicted guys, really! sachavonkarl74
